I fixed that for you.

The Software Slump awesome and probably the most listener friendly album they put out. Under the Western Freeway is my favorite.

They did some songs for Dawn of the Dead didnt they? Them and Brian Eno practically wrote the score I believe.

prolly my fav band of the last couple years.

CRIMINALLY under-rated and under-appreciated... shame as now they are gone

i've thought about that and can't really agree. Quite different sounds I think, with Pavement centered around a guitar and Grandaddy more synths.

Grandaddy is the champion of Space-Pop after all

The demise of this band was truly disastrous. Jason Lytle is a genius writer of songs and a superb vocalist. I too adore The Sophtware Slump. Equally though, I think that Sumday is an excellent release.

More recently, Just Like The Fambly Cat has kept up the high standard of output.

Apparently, the band felt that they could do no more. Tragic!

RIP Grandaddy, but their music will live on forever.
