I thought it was very good. It has a really unpolished punk/heavy metal quality that goes together really well.

My favourite songs were probably "Lung" and "In a Jar".

Definitely the best Dinosaur Jr. album for me, it's just that little bit better than Bug and a clear progression from Dinosaur. The opener 'Furry Little Things' is the highlight of the album for me, I love the way it opens with screaming and J Mascis' wah-wah guitar, pretty damn good song too. So many other great songs on this album such as 'Sludgefeast' with it's heavy Black Sabbath-inspired riffs, 'In a Jar' and their blistering cover of The Cure's 'Just Like Heaven' (although it wasn't on the original album). Everyone always brings up the really ****ty production but too be honest I can't really imagine it any other way. I love recordings that don't sound quite right, it just seems to add extra character to the music.

For anyone getting into alternative rock this is definitely a must-have album.

Brilliant album! I strongly agree with one of the previous posts saying that this is a must have album for someone getting into indie rock. In a Jar, Little Fury Things, just some great rock and roll!

I voted very good, the only song I don't like too much is the opener. I think my favorite was Tarpit. It's pretty much just a really solid album.

This reminds me, I have their album Dinosaur downloaded and I should really get around to listening to that.

I still need to listen to it. I've been meaning to check out Dinosaur Jr. for a while now, so this would probably be the best time to do so.

Pretty excited considering all the positive comments I've been hearing here.

One of the best albums in the Dino Jr discography despite its crappy production.

I enjoy the "crappy production". It is lo-fi sounding for sure, and that is part of it's charm.

First album I heard by DJ though was "Bug", and I still llike it as well, this video is one of my faves, wish I would of caught then last time they were around these parts... next time for sure.
