I only have Surfer Rosa and Doolittle, but I intend to get everything they ever recorded before the end of the week.

The Breeders "MOUNTAIN BATTLES" is very excellent

It sounds nothing like Pixies except for being guitar rock and Kim's voice

Albini did a great job recording. I have the vinyl, which I recommend as Kim & Kelly endorse All-Wave Recording wherein no manipulation of the sounds is done after the fact of the initial recording, and they take it to the extreme of metal masters for the vinyl pressing

Also the cover art is very beautiful and looks great in the large-size vinyl format

Well, I know what I like and I remember when those were popular. I liked them okay at the time but they didn't stick with me. But I'll be giving them another listen sometime in the next few months, I expect.
