I'm going to see the Pixies!!

Doolittle was originally my faveourite, I think its easier to get into as 'Debaser' 'Here comes your man' 'Monkey gone to heaven' etc are so good! So good other bands felt the need to copy the tune. Bossanova is really great as well though.

Now i`m not doubting the genius of the pixies here.

I just hate it that they have to even reform just because people were too lazy to check them out the first time around.

I just think it`s sad that in 2005 people are hearing Doolittle for the first time , even though it came out 17 years ago

I wasn`t talking about age.

I was referring more to the fact that in the 80s they were possibly the biggest Indie band around (Maybe with the exception of REM) and also one of the biggest influences in the 90s 'alternative' *cough* movement & yet people have to go out & discover them rather than come into contact with them through the usual channels.

Fair enough but it is better than not getting into them at all.
