Smile Bastille

Bastille have a new song 'Of The Night' out November 18th. It's a great song and I personally think it is as good as 'Pompeii'.

I have liked Bastille for ages, but only the other day I found old (not sure if it's an album or EP, but I'll go with EP) EPs by them. 'Other People's Heartache' and 'Other People's Heartache Pt.2'. 'Other People's Heartache' was where 'Of The Night' was originally released. Now it's on the second rendition of 'Bad Blood', 'All This Bad Blood' as well.

Also I would like to recommend 'No Angels (Feat. Ella Eyre)', found on 'Other People's Heartache Pt.2'. It has the backing of 'Angels' by the XX with their vocals. It's a very good, and interesting song.

These EPs are very original ideas with some covers other different backing and Bastille definately pulled it off. Don't know why I didn't find them earlier?

Do you know where you can download them because they aren't on iTunes and I tried googling it but nothing comes up...

The track isn't released yet so ain't available to buy. If you wanna be naughty about it you need to go to Check - Immunicity - Simple Censorship Circumvention and configure your browser to circumnavigate the recent blocks and censorship that UK ISPs have been made to implement by law. That will allow you to access the 'naughty' sites.

Their song Pompeii was great, but I'm going to have to disagree with their latest song in terms of it being matching quality. I thought their new song was decent, but it sounds too mainstream I feel. I dunno.. what do you guys think?

I still like the band, especially their acoustic covers. I appreciate the energetic sound and all.
It is obvious that their not extremely sophisticated, and success-oriented bands usually won't release soulful extended plays...
I think it's not so bad though... that's up to your personal attitude and expectations!

Oh hey, I was going to post a thread about Bastille!

These guys are strangely appealing. They're not my favorite band, but I can NOT stop listening to Bad Blood (both the song and the entire album).
