I'll give it another shot, but if that's your favorite-- that just doesn't bode well for this album... I will for sure check out the others you mentioned.

It was okay. I'm not a particularly big YYYs fan, but I really liked Sacrilege so I thought I'd give it a shot. Listened to it in full twice, gotta say most of it was very forgettable. I remember liking Under The Earth, and a couple others (Slave and Always if I remember right) but otherwise a bit boring.

Gonna give it another shot, maybe it'll grow on me

Pitchfork wasn't very nice in their review. This is my favorite quote from the Mosquito review: " ...whenever Mosquito aims for "zany" or "light," it teeters around like an exhibitionist "drunk" on non-alcoholic beer."
Yeah, I'd have to agree. I think Despair and Subway are probably the only ones I like. Not great on the whole.

The first single, "Sacrilege," wasn't bad, but the rest of the album didn't play out well. It seemed simple and mediocre. The album did make me go back and listen to Fever to Tell and the Where the Wild Things Are OST.
