This is true. And I know we're all here to discuss music, so it's all good. I guess I'm just a lover, not a fighter (or even a debater for that matter). I agree with you in that I don't think just anyone could make the same "simple radio rock" that Foo Fighters make. Even though they might not be a completely original band, I think they have an at least semi-unique sound. When I hear a Foo song on the radio, I don't get it confused with any other bands. I know it's them. But maybe that's just me.

I think we should all just say "screw it" and go have a drink together.

The only time Dave Grohl was cool was when he played the devil in the D movie and when he was in Nirvana.

Decent pop-rock I guess. Not something I'd avidly go for, but certainly not something I have any complaints about, and definitely better than a lot of stuff on the radio nowadays.

The rock that gets played on modern rock stations. Lifeless crap such as Three Days Grace and Puddle Of Mudd. Though being better than those 2 bands doesn't say a whole lot. Being from the middle of nowhere means I really have to rely on the internet for exposure to anything decent.

Personally i think the internet is the best way though, so dont worry! I get probably 90% of m music through internet sources. Legally of coarse.
