primael scream are the better live band...depeche suck live really. Dave has major cringe factor as a libve performer. New order are the best singles band of the eighties imo. but the scream have the best cd of all of em...SCREAMADELICA!! legend!! having voted for them then I gotta say this si a tough poll. love em all.

Toss up for me between New Order and Depeche Mode. I went with Depeche Mode. Love their most recent effort, Playing The Angel. New Order's new stuff is good too but I prefer Depeche Mode.

I don't know who bumped this but I voted Primal Scream anyways, if not just for Screamadelica. It's one of the most diverse and widespread albums I have heard, jumping from songs like Movin On Up, to Higher Than The Sun, and then to Damaged, which is one of my favorite songs featuring a piano.
I was looking for Beautiful Future in a record store a few weeks ago and was told it hadn't even been released in this country yet..sad times. |
