Thanks man. They make some really good music to cheese out to, as well as the others. Monkey3 and Mars Red Sky are probably my modern favs. Just something about getting high and listening to the slow distorted guitars is just relaxing. Even when drinking.

Edit: love the avatar! Kick ass!

Fa sho man. I'll have to give Mars Red Sky a listen, stoner rock and metal is definitely my ****. Recently got into Woodwall and Large Marge too, not sure if you're familiar but definitely look into them.
We have another member here who's pretty knowledgeable on that kind of music, jackhammer. Keep an eye out for what he's listening to.

And thanks!

I will be sure to check those bands out! Haven't heard of them but I'm always looking for new bands. Also will be keeping an eye on Jackhammers taste as well. I just love music brother! Especially music I can smoke and drink to.

The new OOIOO album really grew on me when I listened to it at two AM very faded like.

"The Age of the Understatement" by The Last Shadow Puppets is a good choice (for me).

All of it. I have a very, very short attention span, and when I'm coming down, I randomly cycle through songs based on random whims enjoying each one like...a thousand times than I would normally.

But more specifically, I have different kinds of music I listen to when I'm in that state doing different things. If I'm writing, for instance, I put on cool jazz and bebop. If I'm cooking, I like some soft swing music. If I'm playing video games, I like noisy electronic and bombastic hip hop. I'll get into a zone doing what I do with to that music.
