I love Daydream Nation its def their best album. Fav songs would be Teen Age Riot, Silver Rocket, Total Thrash, Candle and Hyperstation. All the tracks are great though, that's what makes it such a killer album. Sadly i've never seen them live but hopefully i will within the next few years.

They're great live. I got on a plane and flew to the venue. You should do the same.

They be one of my favourite bands yeh. I have everything they've ever officially released and my favourite album of theirs is probably Daydream Nation. I find their 90's stuff (with the exception of Murray Street) kinda bland in comparison to the rest of their catalogue, though.

the 90s stuff is hit/miss. Murray Street is after the 90s though.

Goo - loads of cool songs, I like it. It is less emphatic than Daydream Nation but there's still plenty of awesome on this. 7.5/10

DIRTY - three good songs, the rest meh. 4/10

Experimental Jet Set - crap 2/10

Washing Machine - really good album. Lee's songs are the best on here, except obviously The Diamond Sea which is up with the best songs they wrote. 8/10

A Thousand Leaves - I like listening to this when I'm reading. It's a weird kind of album for them, but I definitely like it. "Hits of Sunshine" is especially excellent. 8/10

but yeah the 80s are where it's at with this band.

Yeh what I meant to say was post-80’s loik and I definitely agree about it being a hit/miss. It’s probably unfair to compare it to the likes of Daydream Nation and Sister because the post-80’s era did see some quality stuff.

Ehe, I hope you mean Theresa's Soundworld, Sugar Kane and Youth Against Fascism? Dirty is my least favourite SY albums but it does have some cool moments, most of which are contained in those songs.

Crazy! It's so low key and mundane to my ears. Winner's Blues is a nice song, but the rest is just meh I think.

I definitely do mean Theresa's Sound World, that's an incredible song. The other two I was thinking of were Sugar Kane and Wish Fulfillment, both really good tracks. Sugar Kane was one of the first SY songs I heard, that and Teenage Riot.

Youth Against Fascism is definitely one of the better songs on the album, but it's not got the quality of those three imo.

Ah yeah, If I were to divide the album in two I suppose Wish Fulfillment would be in the better half but YAF def surpasses it imo.

Teenage Riot was also one of the first SY songs I heard and the video has a special place in my heart.
