naw that's bull****, I love the Kings and all but the singer is the one of the only things that keeps the bands unique.

On another note, how do people like the new album?

yeah i think they definitely changed a bit.
i wish they kept their sound the same as the sound from Aha Shake Heartbrake.

that's my absolute favorite album.

Regardless of whether the sound is a bit more polished or not, Nathan (is that the singer?) is at his best on this album. I think I must be the oddball, because I loved them at all stages of their career, from Holy Roller Novocaine to BOTT. And I really like the new album.

Their latest album is another I've not got round to hearing yet, due to the difficulty I had with their last.
Though I believe this one's a bit more instantly listenable...

Only By the Night was a hard listen for me...different style from their usual and it just didn't feel right.

really? i mean i am a fan of all of their stuff, but i'm the complete opposite in that i definitely like the sound of their newer album in comparison to their earlier ones. it's more developed and definitely a lot edgier and the sound is a little weird but that's what attracts me to it. it excites me to see where their music will go after this.
