Because of the Times has to be one of my favorites so far this year. Since I'm new to posting here i can't link, but I'll come back and post a link to my photos of them at Bonnaroo 2005.

I think the album is awesome! I heard that McFearless would be the second single release but they have changed to Fans. Both great songs in my opinion. The album is my favourite of the year and its unlikely to be removed from that spot.

because of the times has a strong whiff of interpol imo. their debut preceeding albums are quite original i spose, especially the debut, though again it borrows heavily off southern and garage rock. good band though.

Probably the first Kings of Leon song I ever heard:

King of the Rodeo

Default Love em...

I used to live in Nashville, TN and had the Kings of Leon attended a couple parties I threw at a place called "The Acklen House" (It was a house on Acklen where we threw parties) They were pretty much unknown in the USA.

Recently I moved to London and cannot believe how huge they are! I live down the street from The Garage, where they shot one of their videos, and it blows me away that some guys who used to do blow at our parties are celebrities here!

I'm going to see them on their UK arena tour (eww, that sounds bad) in December and I just wonder if anybody else is? Primarily though if anybody has an idea who a support act may be?

They were one of the best bands at Reading/Leeds Festival. Definitely worth seeing live.
