I did a Top 100 albums of all time list polling over 75 members at another forum for "Classic Rock" listeners and this was the only "Indie" band to crack the list. (if you don't count Radiohead)
Neutral Milk Hotel was #100.

i feel like the last person to get into them, but the aeroplane over the sea is one of the few albums i can listen to the whole way through without getting bored. simply amazing.

Yes, and we all know why it was at number 100. Because it was the 2 or 3 max. indie dudes on the forum who nominated it.
