I only recently got into neutral milk hotel...due to the hipsters around the place. I think i prefer on avery island to in the airplane over the sea
While both are excellent...I dont think they would reach my all time greatest albums list.

Give it a while, for people who do like it, it usually takes a while to set in.

I liked Aeroplane and Holland, but the rest took a couple of listens before it all really kicked in.

Oh Comely and Ghost were my favorites on first listen.

I really, really have trouble picking a favorite now. I'm really liking King Of Carrot Flowers pt. 1 though.

For me nothing tops the emotion of Two Headed Boy Pt. 2.

It's probably my pick too. It's a very unique and layered song, it definitely gets better with time invested. The opener (King of Carrot...) is very important though, it really sets up the album nicely.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

The Last two Minutes of Oh Comely have really connected with me recently.
