Wild beasts (lead singer, pop, ballad, single, albums)

Possibly the most original new band coming out of Britain in the last few years? As is written on their last.fm page "They write beautiful, intriguing, slightly offbeat but incredibly catchy pop music."

Check it out:

Wild beasts - Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants

Wild beasts - The devil's crayon

Isn't The devil's crayon bleedin' fantastic?

Apparently that's not the usual lead singer though and since I'm in the process of getting the album (Limbo, Panto), I'm not sure if the hoarseness of the lead singers vocals will grate on me...
