After listening to several random tracks, it strikes me that there's some kind of islamic influence in this music.
Am I correct?
'Haunting' is one word to describe what I've heard so far.

adidasss, can you provide a bit of background information to this 'croatian electro ethno' please, so I can listen again with more understanding.

nope, no islamic influence, it's just the balkans, traditional balkan ethno music, the stuff that our ancestors played and still do with added electro beats...seeing as how there are no lyrics available, the best i can do is translate the names of the tracks:
1. Tana has fallen
2. kolende ( it's residue for olives after they have been processed into oil )
3. the water came from a spring
4. black horses
5. abundant treasure
6. my maple tree
7. rain fell from the cloud
8. fair Mara fluttered
9. ( no idea what this is )
10. Ivo plants a green pine tree
11. ( no idea )

1. my sweetherat
2. oh Lord, dear Lord
3. the arrival
4. escape
5. my Neven, why are you so sad?
6. a trap
7. revenge and forgiveness
8. how can someone not be sad
9. my people
10. battle
11. ( no idea )
12. ( no idea )
as you can see, or maybe not, it's just stuff people used to sing , mostly about their daily lives, love and loss and so on....maybe i'll translate the lyrics one day....
