Violet has been quite unwell recently and had to spend an overnight in the hospital broke my heart.

What was she in the hospital for? I hate that large dogs always have so many health issues, because they're the best type of dogs you can have .

We didn't know at first but she wasn't eating or drinking at all so after a day or so we took her up because we were concerned, especially about her not drinking anything. She had a phantom pregnancy and they thought it was all stemming from that but it turned out she has EPI which is a problem with the pancreas, where the enzyme that absorbs fat is missing, which explains why we've had so much problems getting her to put weight on. It also comes with a whole host of symptoms but that was the main one we were concerned with.


Got her medicine in today though which will get mixed through her food and help her absorb the fat! So fingers crossed!

Yeah same, she's definitely getting better though. As I said to my mum, she's beginning to misbehave so she must be feeling alright haha .

Does anyone have any pictures of their rabbits? I just gave ours a piece of broccoli lettuce and watched him run around in circles (hanging out of his mouth) like a kid who got an ice cream. It was adorable.
