She knows you are hiding goodies in the fridge.

Do you feed her scraps?

Nice cat.

Cats sitting on their front paws .

Cute.

No, I don't. I feed her only a combination of raw meat (both regular, raw meat and commercial raw) and wet, grain-free cat foods. Here's a video I made of her munching down a pork chop.

When I made both these videos I was regularly giving her a lot of kitty treats. Now I hardly ever do it, and I think she's lost about a pound.

Apologies to anyone who gets squeamish at the sight of something chomping down raw meat. ;)

^That's awesome. It's like an urban nature show. I want to feed my cat like that - right now I give her grain-free dry and wet food, but that's all. Do you feed her raw steak?

She's sensitive to beef (usually barfs it up) so I only give her pork chops and chicken. I also give her this commercial rabbit stuff.

Dry food is bad for your cat, I would give it up. I feed my cat a VERY small amount as a late-night snack (like, 10 kibble pieces) but I don't even do it every night. Dry cat food is pretty much the cause of kidney problems in cats, their digestive systems are designed to extract water from their food (they're desert animals, after all). If their food doesn't contain enough water their kidneys go into overdrive and it takes a huge toll on them after a while. Look it up.
