I'm not allowed to have pets. It's in my apartment rental contract. The spiders in my bathroom have been growing impressively big as of late. I'm considering buying a collar and taking one of them for a walk.

Not sure I'm a pet-person anyway, but having a chameleon always seemed like a cool idea to me.

A pretty nice-but-weird uncle of mine always names his farm cats (they usually just come from nowhere and choose to stick around) after contemporary political figures, so he's had a cat named Putin and a cat named Osama Bin Laden. I loved Osama. Such a cute little kitten. Got flattened by a car, sadly .

So sorry to hear about Osama May catmint grow over his grave while his spirit haunts the local rodents (RIP)

Putin would be a very befitting name for my drifter tomcat. His full name is now officially Huckleberry Putin, in honor of your nice-but-weird uncle.

As for the apartment situation, you should get a bat. Maybe it'll keep the spiders under control, and as a bonus, bats have edible feces (delicious and nutritious... or so I hear).

Huckleberry Putin has a real ring to it. It is memorable and it will make people look at you funny when you tell them the name of your cat. Win/win, basically.

I heard about that coffee where some animal ****s out coffee beans that are then sold as premium-luxury coffee beans. I think it was a bat-related thing. Bats are actually kind of cute (well... sort of) AND you can make a lot of money by feeding them coffee beans. I can always tell the landlord that it just flew in one night and wouldn't leave.

Huckleberry Faggot would have the same effect.

It just doesn't seem as creative. It would be kind of like naming your cat Ebola Hitler. Too obvious.

Combining Huckleberry and Faggot isn't exactly obvious.

Please whatever you do, DON'T get a chameleon. They are A LOT of work to take care of and you have to make sure they are always in the right temperature with the right amount of moisture. It is a huge undertaking. I thought about it once as well but did the research and most people wouldn't be able to take care of one properly and it would end up dying.
