Yea ex military but I don't let it get me down. Definitely not a definitive characteristic of mine. I think I was more gung-ho about being drunk on MusicBanter than anything.

Were we FB pals? I can't really remember, drunk part being the operative aspect. To be fair, I don't even pay attention to my own family on there. I just have it because my parents don't have phones that can send text messages and I'd prefer they don't call me.

Yes, some vague remembrance of curmudgeon-ness is coming back to me.

Nah, I was referring to general fb use, we were never fb friends. I only have people I know irl there, so only have about 70 people there. And I prune every now and then. It's just not a very conductive place for discussions or ranting. Hence the return to a forum.

I think it's much worse than that. That looks like the face of world domination, with the plotting...and the scheming.

Yea he's actually the smart one. He orchestrates vast campaigns of violence and disarray throughout my house.

You see that throw he's sitting on? I recently got that. I got it specifically to keep them from clawing the ottoman (which is less tough than the couch / seat) and a matching one where the white one sleeps so she doesn't get so much hair on the couch.

This mother****er drags the throw blanket off the ottoman each day and leaves it in the middle of the floor, just to show me that he prefers scratching the ottoman and **** you for making it difficult.

Not even that scratching post is throwing him off his ottoman game.

Haha... Yea.. when cat owners say "you gotta put scratching posts where they would otherwise scratch" they must mean for you to tear your house down and rebuild it strictly from scratching posts.

That scratching post you see is basically like if you were in a war and you were really severely outnumbered, and you shot a 22 caliber pistol into an advancing army of Abrams tanks.

So true. I am totally defenseless against mine. R.I.P. chest of drawers and my carpeting.

I have a sneaking suspicion it would end up like Animal Farm and I'd be Mr. Jones.
