Post My Induction

I will try to not accost to this forum, but it is inticing. I am the co-creator of the band Myrrh Miasma. Working on the first album (more info as it develops). Anyways, I enjoy the look/feel of your site. I saw someone previously report their favorite music tastes. Here are some:

Soft Machine
Spooky Tooth
Raymond Lew
Raymond Scott
Silver Apples
Air
Blue Cheer
Dinosaur Jr.
Elliott Smith
Syd Barrett
Pink Floyd (early stuff with Syd)
Tim Buckley
Paul Korte
Derek Norton
Pagoda (Michael Pitt's)
The Orange Alabaster Mushroom
Of Montreal
Absinthe Glow
Traffic
Moody Blues
moe.
Club d'Elf
King Crimson -added

I don't really hate any music... I am open-minded in everything.

I am open minded too, but I can honestly say I can't stand most country music and most rap music....There are probably talented people in these genres, I just don't care for them.

Ah yes... love the genre and alot of the bands. It seems like each album is a journey. My band is sort of progressive... but mostly obscuro, experimental, psychedelic, ambient, etc...

The Mars Volta - I liked with 'The Widow', and I first heard it but their album "Deloused in the Comatorium" was breathtaking. Great modern prog.

King Crimson - Oh gosh. I can't belive I forgot about them. I'm kind of on a racing-feeling of mind today, so I kind of did my tastes lickety-split. I'm going to mutilate myself for forgetting. In the Court of the Crimson King is ambrosial and ethereal on so many levels.

Symphony X - I think I remember them... neo-classical progressive metal band, right? Sea of Lies and The Divine Wings of Tragedy are great songs. I liked "The Divine Wings of Tragedy" and "The Odyssey".

Pain of Salvation - The vocals are pretty deep on their tracks. I usually don't listen to metal, but I should. There is some power about the genre that is quasi-sinful and addicting.

After the 15-Post rule I'll put out my band on the promotions page.
