I was wondering if anyone knew of it.
Has it closed down, or is it staying up?

As far as I know it's still open.
Were they thinking of closing it down?

In it's hey day it was the coolest place to be seen in town.
Anything from rare vinyl to a decent haircut.
Some decent bars around the Northern Quarter too.
I doubt it'll close, I'm sure it's a listed building or something like that.

Apparently they were going to close it, I think to make way for houses or something. I hope it hasn't been closed, I haven't been in a year or so but it's an awesome place. I've heard alot of scene ***s hang there now, though I'm sure the goth community will scare them ****less. Ahh I'm so going there next week the diverse community is awesome and it's one of the only places where most people actually know what music is.

Have you ever seen the little vinyl stall in hiding in some back alley near afflecks?

You mean the one on Tib Street? Next to a multi story car park?
Just up from there is a shop called 'Beatin' Rhythm'.
http://www.beatinrhythm.com/
If you get a chance have a look-in.
If your a fan of vinyl and love soul/funk/60's R&B, THIS PLACE IS A DREAM COME TRUE.
