I've only meerly heard of Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix. I don't think I can judge.. Can I?

There's a difference between who would be my favourite and who I respect.
I respect Manouche guitarists above all else and appreciate the music without being a fanboy.
Number 1 favourite ever, would be a bassist. James Jamerson.
