Adoption really doesnt mean anything, at best it just means that there is at least one person looking out for your posts... at worst, you get adopted by an absolute **** who the rest of the forum dislikes, and you are tarred by association.

Luckily I'm adored by the MB masses (I imagine)

I didn't say that the drummers you posted were bad. Yes, Billy Cobham is one of my favorites but I feel like if you are going to be as into drumming as you'd like to be that you should hear some of his work.

Fair enough. As a percussionist, I am also much into a lot of percussion: marching, world, orchestral, concert, rudimental, jazz, solo, ensemble, along with everything else. So while I love drum set, it's not my only area, ya know? I play it all, so I branch out a lot.
