Default My short intro

Hi everyone. Since I'm starting this thread I'm obviously new to this forum. I enjoy many types of music, but my favorite is Metal. Mostly Power Metal and Progressive Metal, but I basically listen to all genres of Metal (Death, Thrash, Doom...). I also listen to all kinds of Hard Rock and Classic Rock.

I recently also joined a Metal forum, but I have found that it can get a bit immature and rude over there, and individual opinions are not valued. I'll still post there because it can be fun at times.

Some bands that I'm into right now (no order, just typed in as they come to me):

Symphony X, Opeth, Mastodon, Epica, Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Astral Doors, Candlemass, Amon Amarth, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Genesis (mostly the old progressive stuff), Iron Maiden, Kamelot, The Doors, Blaze, Rush, Megadeth, Slayer, and many others

My other passions are books, food, and artisanal or craft beer.

Anything that's not Bud, Miller, or Coors (BMC). Basically what's traditionally referred to as microbrews, and good imports (especially Belgian Ales).

Otherwise known as ashtrays. ^

I'm disappointed, when you referred to craft beers...I imagined you made your own.
