Default New here (well obviously)

Hello all,
I am a 20 year old female who is a little nuts about music. I like anything non-mainstream (though The Spice Girls have a special place in my heart). I attend college and I am a Communications student. I DJ for college radio and I am a music director for the board. I currently am doing a music solo project (I am a singer, been pro-trained an all). It's called Girl Singer (NOT CLEVER), and is a mix of free jazz/experimental/cabaret crap. I REALLY dig almost all electronic music, indie rock and hip-hop, goth and deathrock, a little bit of punk and hardcore, big band and swing, world music (go, Bollywood!). My favorite genres at the moment are jazz (always) and post-rock. I like to paint in my free time, as well. Thanks for reading all this trivial crap!

My place just had applications...I was really lucky I was able to get a show right off tha bat with my friend (who transfered, wah). Just find out about it and show up, be friendly and all that **** and you should be ok.
When I start my show again I'll post a link (it's on the internetz). I was lucky to best befriend someone with a lot of the same taste as me, and he even got me SUPER into electronic and indie music. Before that I listened to some, but at the time I was still a little gothling...
