Default Tis Fallison...

Yo! I'm Falon. I'm 14, 15 on September 26th.

Before I forget, I have a music myspace: MySpace.com - Falon - Oregon - Pop / Rock - www.myspace.com/geetargirlrock

I'm FINALLY getting my band together. I've had a bassist for a while, and we just found a drummer. Now we need a singer, then you'll see that myspace up and running.

I've been playing drums since I was three. I have a Ludwig set and Zildjian cymbals. I use Vic Firth Hickory American Classic sticks size 5A. My step-dad has big sticks and I got terrible blisters.

I've been playing the piano since I was six. I took lessons for a few years. I just have a Yamaha electronic piano and I'm not sure what I have at my mom's..Not electronic though. *hides from lack of knowledge*

I've been playing the guitar since I was eight..I've REALLY been into it since I was 13, but I could play quite a bit of stuff at age 11. Electric Guitars: Gibson Explorer Pro, Gibson Les Paul, Gibson SG, Ernie Ball Music Man Eddie Van Halen, Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster. Acoustic Guitars: Baby Taylor, Taylor, Takamine. Amps: Marshall MG15MSII, Fender Cyber-Twin, Vox AD50VT212 Guitar Combo Amp, Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. I really want a Marshall JCM 2000..I just love the sound of Marshall amps with Gibson guitars. As for pedals..I don't use them too much, but I have: BOSS Digital Delay DD-5, BOSS Super Chorus CH-1, BOSS Compression Sustainer CS-3, BOSS Metal Zone MT-2, BOSS Chromatic Tuner TU-2, BOSS Octave OC-2.

I guess you could say I "play" bass. I like to mess around on my Epiphone.

I also play the French horn. I have a silver one.

I like to sing, too.

I play guitar and French horn in the after-school concert/jazz/pep-band. I am hopefully going to get into the rock band at my school this year and be a rhythm guitar player, because there is a crazy shredder senior lol. I'm a sophmore this year, so next year I'll be a Junior and probably the lead guitarist, unless there's some rif***e maniac that I don't know about.

*pictures in following posts*

I didn't have my Vox with me when I took these pictures, and I'm too lazy to take one right now..So..You aren't gonna see it any time soon, haha.

I love The Donnas, female fronted bands, and classic rock..I like a lot of music though.

I listen to Women Rock Radio: Women Rock Radio Listen Now!
My songs are in the rotation on the radio, and I've been played by the DJ's.

xoxo Falon

You're officially the third coolest poster on MB. I wish I was as serious about making music at that age as you are.

Welcome to the forum.

You're a year and a few months older than me and you have all that stuff. I am envious.

I know that I posted this introduction thread a long time ago, but I need to update a few things..

I didn't realize I only posted one specific band that I like and I also have updates on my band.

EVERYTHING I FORGOT TO PUT...

Music: The Donnas, KISS, LED ZEPPELIN, Van Halen, AC/DC, Queen, Girlschool, The Runaways, L7, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Donita Sparks & The Stellar Moments, Juliette & The Licks, Lita Ford, Vixen, Metallica, The Noisettes, Sex Pistols, The Ramones

Now I'll say.. + other female fronted bands & classic rock/rock/punk.

Recent band stuff: The band is together. I am the guitarist/backing vocalist..Then we have a girl singer/sometimes rhythm guitarist, a much better drummer than we had before (a girl) and freaking AMAZING by the way, and a guy bassist (the new drummer's brother). We were going to record a rough track of our first song this weekend, but something came up.
