Hello funk fans! (genre, Black Eyed Peas, cover, 70's, bands)

Hey there. I am Dave the funkster. I love funky music. Sly and the family stone, The meters, Black eyed peas. Just everything that has that tight funk beat really gets me excited. There are so many bands I have not heard of from the 70's genre and I can't say who is doin that kind of music today but it's the joy of discovering new and old bands that makes this site worth being part of.

So that's what I'm into. I play bass, so funk is my happy place.
