Default Greetings from the fort.

Hi everyone.Im simonbarsinister and Im a noob here.I spent the last 3 years at another music forum and was a mod for the guitar and general forum boards.I have been playing for almost 30 years and have played in many bands, some did well and some not so well.Ive had the good luck to open for many classic rock bands over the years and loved the experience. Some of my favorite bands are but not limited to..Pink Floyd,Bruce Springsteen,Eagles,Clapton,Hendrix. You get the picture.I play the guitar and bass and hope to contribute to your community in a positive way.I do have a warped sense of humor that I hope dosent get me into trouble. At the last forum we had complete freedom to say what we wanted without fear of being banned so I will be carefull.

You'll fit right in.

Just as long as you're not too terribly offensive, you should be okay. At any rate, welcome! We are a very diverse community and plenty of members know their stuff. It's great to see new faces in the crowd.

np dude. It's awesome to see new music lovers here, especially when they come seasoned as they already are.

Just out of curiosity, who have you opened for? It sounds like an awesome experience.

Thanks for all the greetings and folkie you hang in there and keep doing what your doing and it will come.I struggled in the beginning myself but you just have to keep chugging along.Opening for those bands was over several years of playing.
