Hey everyone, I decided to make an account after just lurking for a while. I''m pretty open to all music and will give anything a shot at least once, but my favorite artists are:

(in order)1. Placebo
2. The Strokes
3. Queens of the Stone Age
4. Muse
5. Coldplay

Hopefully I'll be able to find people with similar musical tastes that can recommend other good artists.

Welcome. The Strokes were my favorite band back in the day... You'll find a whole lot of great stuff here on MB.

I think all of those bands have been among my favourites at some point, whether I still listen to them now or not. Rush of Blood To The Head, Origin of Symmetry and Is This It probably all took residency in my CD player for about the first 6 months after their release.
