Hey Chris .. So are there any genres you prefer? Hard Rock? Metal?

Where do you come from?

Im from North Wales but live in Liverpool now. I find it hard to keep up with all the genres to be honest. My little cousin comes up with new ones everyday.

I like classic rock mainly which i think is classed as hard rock i believe. Iron Maiden being my favourite. I also like mainstream music too but thats normally becasue it gets in your head and it is easy listening not because you actually appreciate what they are trying to say.

I know what you mean about the genres .. I'm most into hard rock, prog rock and metal, but I prefer to keep it at that and not get too specific.

By the way, this might seem a little weird, but since you're from north Wales .. I' from Norway and I plan on vacating to Wales/England with some friends this summer. We want to go on a boat rental trip on the Llangollen canal. However, I've been a little uncertain about the weather .. Do you know if it's usually nice there around the first week in august?

the weather in Britain is generally poor to be honest! It changes day by day. We have already had a week of sunshine so that is normally all we get haha. We are promised a good summer so I would say that the chances are higher than normal.

Ive never been on the canal in LLangollen even though I live quite near there, well used too. Llangollen it self is a nice place to visit.

I quite enjoy going to the lake district for boat trips but that is very diffierent to a canal trip. Will you be living on the boat yes?

Yup, we'll be living on the boat which is a crucial part of our plan as we are all relatively poor students and need to cut down on living costs. The vacation seems perfect to me, but weather could really make or break it so it's my only worry!

Other than that, I've been to England a few times and have a deep-set fondness for many english things. I'm sure I'll love it in Wales as well

Wales is pretty. North Wales is not as spoilt as south wales so you will see the natural beauty of the landscape.

What towns can you travel too on the boat or how far are you allowed to go? Can you go as far as chester?

I'm not 100% sure where it takes you yet, but one of the guides say you'll get to Whitchurch, Ellesmere, Chirk, Llangollen .. I don't think you get to Chester, but perhaps to Barbridge?
