Hey People,

I'm an audio engineer from Sydney, Australia. I love more or less all types of music except really heavy metal.... I don't hate it or anything, some of it's alright but it just doesn't float my boat for the most part.

I've had a quick look around & this seems like a pretty decent music forum! See you guys round.

P.S.
The username 'ausforest' came from me living in Australia but still supporting my home football (Soccer) team in England, Nottingham Forest. Any other Forest fans on here by any chance?

You may have used both words, but you put football first so you're alright in my book.

Haha, I only used the term soccer for our american friends who are yet to fully appreciate football

As for my favorite bands, as I said i'm into to just about everything apart from the really heavy stuff. I've been a big hip hop head for as long as I can remember but i'm heaps into Eminem, Black Milk & Bliss n Eso at the moment.

I'm pretty keen on Metallica at the moment & i've only recently fallen in love with the Arctic Monkeys & The Last Shadow Puppets. I'm into a bit of electronic stuff too but mainly the more mainstream artists, like The Prodigy & Pendulum.

My musical tastes seem to drastically change every week so it's hard to give a list of my favorite bands lol.

Welcome to MB! Metallica is good, but is it the newer (IMO, crappier) Metallica, or their older stuff? An album to check out is '...And Justice For All.' Quite possibly the best album of all time
