Default Hello MB Community

Good morning,

One of my passions is music and the other flyfishing.

I used to be an avid vinyl collector at one time but times and technology have changed though I'm slow to follow such changes.

I have interest in quite array of different rock genres. Late '60's/early '70's is my favourite era with heavy psych/hard rock/proto-metal and sub-genres of prog leading my interests. Basically, anything from this time period.

Jazz-rock, especially fast fusion I enjoy. The 'great' metal bands such as Metallica, Maiden, Slayer, and others. Heavy prog and prog/metal bands of the last 20 years like Porcupine Tree, Riverside, Dream Theater, and whole host of others.

Looking forward to be part of the community

The Mars Volta is a sonic, complex experimental band that is a very challenging listen for me. De-loused in the Comatorium and Frances the Mute are IMO far and away thier best albums. An LSD trip for the early 2000's.
