I know they're not obscure, and I have listened to examples of these genres before. But I stopped listening after a while because I'm not moved by them. When I asked for good examples, I didn't mean illustrative.

Well personally I don't own any Gregorian Chant or polka collections (although I really should), but I know plenty about good ol' Dixieland to point you in the right direction if you're interested.
