!!!
Cee Lo Green (maybe- its just the one song, really)
Crystal Castles
Cold War Kids (maybe... sort of, slightly)
Cut Copy
Gypsy and the Cat
Kings of Leon
Klaxons
The Black Keys
Animal Collective
Arcade Fire
Gogol Bordello
Mumford and Sons
Phosphorescent
The National
Ratatat
Menomena
Caspa
Best Coast

Some pretty good stuff on there.

ABSOLUTELY see Arcade Fire, if you can. They put on one of the best shows you're likely to see. Their music is pretty sweet (in my opinion), but their live show is where it's at!

Also, Animal Collective, Gogol Bordello, and Cut Copy should be super duper fun.

Thom Yorke 02-04-2011 07:25 PM

Agreed on Arcade Fire. Their live performances are unreal.

sillysillymary 02-06-2011 03:08 AM

Cant wait!

I'm going to show you that you like Cee Lo Green more than you think and it's not just one song.

that's only his work with gnarls barkley, he has hits with Goodie Mob and there are some other songs off his solo cd that are on par with F**K you.

Thom Yorke 02-06-2011 11:46 AM

DJ! You didn't include his best song!

sillysillymary 02-06-2011 12:15 PM

whoooooaaaa... you are correct!!!! I didn't know!!!! Thank you! I do love Gnarles Barkely.

Howard the Duck 02-06-2011 06:51 PM

i have Gnarls' debut (the one he did with Danger Mouse) - didn't make much of an impression on me

djchameleon 02-06-2011 09:31 PM

Gnarls Barkley has Danger Mouse as part of the group it's not just a one time thing he did for the debut.

djchameleon 02-06-2011 10:19 PM

no, Cee Lo Green is the black guy

sillysillymary 02-16-2011 05:34 PM

Alright... I found the saddest breakup song ever...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67QqIjp153Q

But, I think I'm over him... I told a friend today... I thought he was all warm and cozy but then I realized it was just because he's fresh poo, and thats all he ever was. Funny how love is blind... and when you step out of it, you see all the BS that you weren't seeing. Good to be out of that. <3 me.

s_k 02-17-2011 11:15 AM

That's quick :)
Good for you!

sillysillymary 02-17-2011 06:09 PM

Haha... yes... perfect!

Dirty 02-17-2011 06:19 PM

God, it felt good to vent that to strangers over the internet. Anyone recommend some super depressing breakup music? Please, take me just to the verge of suicide, but not quite.

If it's one thing that I have a wealth of, it's depressing music ;) If you need some truly depressing stuff, you can always check me for that.

Oh and btw, welcome to MB!

lol well I would have never guessed that you have truly depressing stuff especially with your user name and all.

Howard the Duck 02-23-2011 04:46 AM

most beautiful break-up song EVER:-

Jacky Cheung Hock Yau - Goodbye Kiss

hell to translate, filled with Chinese idioms, allegories and metaphors

s_k 02-23-2011 04:50 AM

Even without understanding a thing this song is the cliché of all lovesong cliché's from the late eighties and early nineties ;D

Howard the Duck 02-23-2011 05:50 AM

probably true

chinese songs aren't very innovative in their lyrics

really can't hear it anymore, now.

It's so... constructed.
