My real name is Jack Patrick, and I live in south Alabama. I love every genre of music (except pop and modern country). I specifically enjoy experimental music and music from the 60's and 70's (although I love music from every decade).

A few of my favorite musical artists include: Jimi Hendrix, the Velvet Underground, Can, Stars of the Lid, Throbbing Gristle, John Coltrane, Xiu Xiu, A Whisper in the Noise, Television, Henry Cow, DNA, Soft Machine, Bert Jansch, Kaoru Abe, and Morton Subotnick.

I hope I get to meet each and every one of you, and participate in your discussions!
Welcome to MB, and hope to see you around.

I would rather listen to 60's and 70's music too. What kind of country do you like? I'm slowly getting familiar with newer/modern country music, I like Brad Paisley as a guitarist, and a few other it seems some newer country acts are going back to their Bluegrass and Old Tyme roots, which I think is a positive change from Pop influence Country music. But still I can only take country in small doses.

I suppose Cash and Zandt are two that I enjoy. Country is a genre I have been neglecting lately...

Hi Jack, have you ever listened to these two tracks simultaneously? Press play on both at the same time, it totally works (aside from one being much shorter).
