Default Heyy. I'm new. :3

The name's Kaija. I'm from Florida. I just signed up (obviously lol). I've never done the whole forum thing so any advice or warm welcomes would greatly be appreciated.

Welcome aboard Kaija! Who are some of your artists?

(Also, please be sure and take a look at our rules.)

Thanks! I'll be sure to take a look at them right now. Well I'd say my taste in music is pretty eclectic, but lately I've been listening to the new Bon Iver CD, Andrew Bird, and The Avett Brothers, and since it's summer I've been rocking out to some Jack Johnson and John Mayer.

I think you'll find quite a few people around these parts who like some of those people.

Heh, I always have a hard time naming favorites. Some stuff I'm really digging lately though would be Swarrrm, The Vegetable Orchestra, Pivixki, Ultralyd, Gridlink, Flux Information Sciences, PsyOpus, Child Abuse and Psychofagist.

Welcome! What is the correct pronunciation of your name? I'm afraid I'm butchering it in my head.

Hi! Lol. Okay, well it's pretty hard to spell phonetically. So this is the easiest way I can explain it.

Kai=How you would pronounce the first part of "kind".

Ja=How you would pronounce the last part of "asia"

That's the best way I know how to describe my name lol.

I can dig some of the stuff you listen to. My respective favorites:

The Avett Brothers - "Will You Return?"
Andrew Bird - "Plasticities"
Bon Iver - "Towers"
John Mayer - "(Stop) Waiting On The World To Change"
Jack Johnson - "If I Had Eyes"
