I registered here for a specific purpose and am dismayed to discover that I'm being asked to needlessly pester the site with fifteen (15) posts before I'm allowed to post the real reason I even registered here to begin with.
(I'm looking for anyone else out there who's ever heard of or has any information about a specific band)
It's not a big deal or anything but I'll likely never meet that quota without posting useless messages akin to spam and so I've kind of registered here for no reason and posted this message also for no reason.

Is it completely necessary to post a link to ask for information about a specific band?

Would it be in the realm of possibility that you could somehow provide the band's name, assuming that if you'll ever get an answer, the person providing it won't have needed a link?

We're also capable of using google.
