Ah, well generally speaking, new members aren't allowed to post links or share artists to cut down on the number of people who come to this website to spam our community.

From time to time, a new member with good intentions misses this information in the rules, and their post is mistaken as spam and acted upon. This happens because of the sheer number of spammers our staff deals with in a day.

If you'd like another crack at joining our community, I can unban your first account, and ban this one in its place (as members are only permitted one account). Please be mindful of the fact that new members may not promote themselves or unknown artists until they've established themselves as members of the community.

Stick around and get to know us! I would recommend starting a thread about French artists in general (that everyone can share their favourite French artists in), rather than giving us a list of songs to look up.

Sorry about the misunderstanding! We're a staff that always has its hands full, but we mean well.

Welcome! I'm glad you got your confusion sorted out

My French isn't that great, even though most of my education in school was in French. I guess learning French in Toronto is way different than learning French in Québec - you don't get to practice it on the streets. My mom is from the Montreal area - grew up in Pointe-Claire, went to high school in Pierrefonds - but she doesn't speak French fluently at all.
