Hey everyone, I'm a songwriter/musician from Hawaii, 22 years old. I play guitar and bass in addition to singing. I've been playing for 2 and a half years, so I'm still developing my own instrumental and songwriting style.

Solo artists I really like: John Frusciante, Elliott Smith, David Bowie, Iggy Pop

Bands I like: Joy Division, Fugazi, Yes, Rush, Mars Volta, LZ, T Rex, Velvet Underground, Mothers of Invention, Funkadelic, R.E.M, among many others.

I'm from Oahu, born and raised. Also I lol'd at "Tuna" being the first to respond to a post called "New Meat." Glad to know there's others on this forum with similar musical tastes, but really I'm open to just about anything anyone wants to play for me.

You seem like the man already, but accept it. Seriously. Just be all, "I have killer taste in music, but some people will recommend me stuff," and you'll be right at home.
