Hi everyone , did a search and happen to find this music forum so I decided to give it a try .
Hope it works out for me , I'm looking for for a forum where I can meet up with some great people who like me enjoy creating or playing music .

I played drums mostly for eighteen years , dropped out of that ten years ago and then did nothing for five years . Got bored and decided to take up music again where I decided to take up playing the keyboard after I purchased some music software .
For almost six years I have been messing around with Electronic type music , for me its more or less a hobby and keeps me busy and out of trouble here at home .

Thats the scoop on me , look forward to posting some of my recent music and chatting with some of you here on this forum .

Hey James, nice to meet you! Looks like we've got a bit in common (I've been playing piano for the past 13 years), I started messing around with a keyboard and GarageBand over the past year, but haven't really done too much yet. I'd be interested to hear some of your recent music, and eventually if you'd want I can send you some of mine (if I get some more decent stuff made.) Feel free to PM me if it's a link since you can't post any links yet!

Also, what are some of your favorite artists?

Welcome to MB. I joined a lot of music forums but this one is like perfect so I quit the other ones. I like electro too so I hope you post some of your stuff when you can.

well, Klaus Schulze started as a drummer (Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel) before becoming an acclaimed synthesist. You never know...

I was commenting on the fact that I am also a drummer and an electronic music composer, which is why I would get along with the OP.
