I don't really hate any specific bands -- I just don't like certain songs, but I'm not a huge fan of ANY boy band stuff, some jam band stuff (I was a Dead fan back in the day, but I can't deal w/Widespread and Umphrey's McGee). I got watches, DVDs, semi-designer purses, lawn gnomes, stereos, shoes, groceries, jewelry, CDs, iPods, kidneys, those little doodads you hammer into a wall with a nail and then hang a picture off of even though you could just hang it off the nail and not use the doodad, computers, socks, magical grimoires, shit I got everything you need. You need something, you come see me. Unless you need a potted plant, 'cause I'm fresh outta those.

I'm in the same boat. I am a fan of jazz since I was a junior in college (about 6-7 years now). I also found myself getting into emo and indie rock. While I am definitely open to jumping head first into the forum, and am willing to give almost anything a try, I really came here so I can gain a further competency into what I have gotten my feet wet in. Still, I grew up on classic rock and while I want to get into new music, I really find myself not able to stand most of the stuff played on Top 40 stations anymore.

I love the Boss too, both after he became the Boss, and back when he was a heroin shooting street punk from Asbury Park. (Slightly more the street punk version though).

What's you favorite album of his if I may ask?
