Default Hello from South Wales UK

Hi, I'm from Wales, UK. I like all sorts of music, thought I would give this forum a try out for a bit and see how it develops.

Currently playing a lot of Metal, Jazz/Prog and electronic music. I play bass, guitar and drums. I'm also looking at doing a bit of photography in the near future.

I also buy a lot of music, a hell-ov a lot of music.

Cheers jackhammer. I've just been playing:

Electric Masada - At the Mountains of Madness
Down - Down IV Part I - The Purple EP
Secrets of the Moon - Seven Bells
Ministy - various albums, but Filth Pig most recently.

Only just started listening to Down with varying results. Ministry are great and saw them in the summer. Secrets of the Moon I am checking out now.

Down take a little time to get hooked on, worth it in the end. Secrets of the Moon are heavy, melodic and atmospheric metal that really turns my head but again, took a while to get into. Seven Bells is a good album.

I'm still spinning from playing 'Electric Masada - At the Mountains of Madness'.

Their first album is absolutely ace. Heavier than Clifford the Big Red Dog's testicles. Over the Under is a bit of a grower, but it's still not nearly as good as the debut.

Edit: I almost forgot that my avatar is a Down reference.

Yeah, I've seen your avatar around the forum. Good choice.

Down I is brilliant. When it came out there was not a lot around at the time that was 'new' releases. You had to hark back to the olden days of Sabbath, Vitus and Pentagram to get this sort of music on your stereo.
