Default Well hello there!

Hi!

I'm new, but I guess that's obvious.

My name is Hayden Purcell, a currently 23 year old sound engineer/producer/musician based in Buckinghamshire, England.

I'm looking to build a good reputation, and interact with people of similar interests, so I figured joining a forum all about music would be a good way to do this.

I listen to all sorts of music of varying genres, but some of my favourite bands are Murder By Death, Queens of the Stone Age, and Foo Fighters. Homme, Grohl and Trent Reznor are among some of my musical idols.
The music I create is kind of alternative acoustic, with some rock influence and occasionally a bit dramatic.
Production wise, I'm open to crafting anything with/for anyone, and have so far produced voiceover reels, solo artists, rap groups, and rock bands.

I run a home studio, and I never stop learning new stuff to help me produce/mix/record. So I guess I'm also looking to discuss share production techniques to learn and maybe teach!

Looking forward to some fruitful discussions!
Hayden

Hey there Hayden. Welcome.

If your main area of interest is in making music, might I suggest you check out the Artists' Corner subforum, where you will be much more likely to get responses in a technical/professional capacity? I'm sure people "out here" will also be happy to talk to you, but that subforum is where all the, shall we say, techies hang out.

Hope you have fun here.
See you around.
