Default Hello!

Whenever I join other forum websites, I find myself heading to the music threads. There's not really an abundance of them because they're not really music related websites. This is how I found MB, I just googled around.

My name is Eri and I'm in my teens. I'm a little intimidated to post my actual age since just by skimming, a lot of people seem to be older. As for music, I love quite a bit and I'm always looking for new things to listen to. Country, indie, hard-rock, alternative, metal, underground hip-hop, metal, etc. I used to be able to easily group my top 10 artists into a list but now it's incredibly hard to pick.

Welcome to MB.

You don't have to limit yourself to 10 favorite artists but just list off a few artists/bands that you have been listening to currently. Would be cool if you did that.

I made this big list of artists to check out a few weeks ago, and these are probably my favorites.

Red Roots (Christian country), Angel Haze (hip-hop), Childish Gambino (rap), Charlotte Sometimes (indie/pop), BOY (indie rock), Within Temptation (gothic metal), Sleepy Kitty (indie rock), Daisyhead (punk rock), CocoRosie (indie), Jake Bugg (folk)

I have tried and tried to get into this album... this tune is about as much as I can dig... (mainly because at certain parts of the album her voice reminds of a night of passion shared between, Micheal Jackson, Johanna Newsome, and Alvin the chipmunk)

P.S. Welcome to MB

I'm all over Angel Haze, Childish Gambino and Within Temptation. I'm psyched for their new album coming out soon(Within Temptation).

I'm not really that much into indie bands. I'm really picking about which indie bands/artists I listen to.

I'm actually surprised I liked most of the songs on it. Your comparison was spot on and because of that, I either really loved a song or wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
And thanks!

Considering I got into Within Temptation maybe two days ago, I didn't know that. I'm excited now since their last album is a huge favorite of mine now!
