Hi, my name is Rob and I'm new to MusicBanter!
I'm into a variety of music from pop, although the latest mainstream pop isn't really my taste, I like singer songwriters and songs that have meaning behind the lyrics. Oh and I'm a bit of a country fan, although the country scene feels almost non-existent here in the Uk so although I'm a biggish fan compared to my friends I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan on the grand scheme of things.

I write my own songs, far too often that I end up losing sleep but when an idea provokes you can hardly ignore it? Oh and I play the keyboard and I've been teaching myself guitar since about August time?
