Default Greetings! Allow me to introduce myself.

Hey Everyone,

I am a current music major looking for new outlets of music, whatever that may be. I play the bass (a modified Warwick Corvette 5 string for any who are interested) and also have a small home studio where I do mixing and mastering. I am interested to connect with like minded individuals, share and exchange new music, and maybe learn a thing or two. I look forward to meeting some of you all!

Jorby

Welcome jorby!
I am sure you'll have a good time on MusicBanter.
Maybe you can share your works with us at the Artists Corner?

See you around!

Welcome to MB Jordy. I'm like minded, since I mix and sometimes master too.

What are some of your favorite bands?

Thanks for the welcomes! My favorite bands have changed over the years, though for early influence I list Incubus, Blind Melon, Dispatch and Micheal Jackson. Lately, I've been listening to Bach and other classical composers as well as Earth Wind and Fire and other old funk. I've been genre hopping as I have been learning theory and mixing/mastering to get a feel for every thing I may come across in my career(s).

I'm all for it, I feel I owe it to myself I to explore as much music as possible. Maybe I'll through some Yes in rotation for my drive to my gig tonight for inspiration

Since you're a Bass player, I figured you'd need to be aware of this:
