Greetings from British Columbia, Canada, Vancouver area. Been looking for an active and diverse music community, figured I'd stop in here to look around. I'll try to be active but I've been juggling a lot of forums lately.
Anyway, music. I suppose the easiest way to do this is to just dump lists. Welcome bro, there's generally a lot of regular posters, occasionally there's slumps. We had Dopesmoker here not that long ago but he hasn't been on in a while. A lot of music knowledge here, and a lot of people with similar tastes as yours. It's kind of frowned upon to promote your music as a noobie, but I'm pretty sure I've brought it up several times before, because Mindprowler rules

No I am playing, do not listen to that junk. I have two Boards of Canada songs favorited on my spotify. You have a very interesting taste in music, I don't usually come across someone whose primary interests are sludge and electronic but that is definitely way cool, way cooler than me especially. I love Pallbearer, and Eyehategod are pretty great too. Welcome here though! It seems like you know the forum ropes so go you, see you around, and we do have regulars, it might seem a little slow at times but people are still there and are likely still down to argue so long as there's new ways to do it.
