Edited for clarity.

Any "sport" that you can play in a La-Z-Boy chair, is not a sport. Any "sport" where the players might actually be fatter than the fans, is not a sport. Any "sport" in which you are within arm's reach of a piss jug, is not a sport.

I guess sumo wrestling isn't a sport, then.

It gets a pass because the fatness is all part of a meticulously maintained physique that is necessary for the sport. As opposed to just some neckbeard whose diet consists mainly of Mountain Dew, Doritos, and shame.

I'm looking for the thread where this debate went down. I'd really like to see the arguments for and against. My opinion on the matter would change depending on how "sport" is defined within the discussion, but the way I see it they are definitely a sport.

Main advice I'd offer is that there's actually not a big tight knit group here, there's a very small one, and the rest of us regulars are just posting random **** that sometimes they get and sometimes they don't. Basically, don't be concerned if some people like you and others do not, because there's plenty of varied personality to go around.

I, for one, find myself most enjoying people who keep it light hearted and hardly ever exhibit emotions. Also music banter.

RULE #1 - You must worship Carpe, or you will die a miserable death.

Yes, GB got it for me. TY. Highly disappointed in the sh*tty counter-arguments. I stand by my edit.

Second piece of advice... Be nice to the youngins, they run the place. Be good to them and they will gather you followers

^ This is good advice.
