Default H-Hi...

Hi.......
I'm a pretty shy person who came across this place a little while ago but never joined. But now that I dropped out of college and am living with my parents, I've been feeling a bit more like talking to people ^^;

So I'm mainly into avantgarde/experimental, but I can appreciate pretty much anything.

I've mostly been listening to the Microphones/Mount Eerie, Iva Bittova, Evan Ziporyn, Dirty Projectors, Jon Hassel, and Bjork recently, but I did go on a Modest Mouse binge today. (Four FINgered fisherman!)

While I am hoping to eventually get some feedback on my own stuff (I did drop out...), I wouldn't call it promotion, just wanting to hear things. I'm mainly here for the community. Stupid music courses just talking about musicals and mediocre operas... What, no love for Shaking the Habitual? Getty Address? Ornate Zither and the Nomad Flute? Name Drop? >.>

So it's nice to hopefully meet y'all and I'll try not to be a jerk ^^

Don't worry, I'll do that enough for the both of us. Speaking of, if you don't listen to metal then you're dead to me. True story.

Ehhh, I like mathcore. Sleeping People's pretty cool, and a bunch of composers I like play around with time signature like that. And I know prog metal isn't the same, but I've got some of that. But for the traditional stuff it's kinda just Rwake and Ride the Lightning for me. Sure there's cool stuff out there but I don't really look ^^;

It wasn't really working for me. I'll figure something out, even if it means just finding a better school for me. And as my parents said "Stop worrying about the money! It's not your fault!" >.>

Oh I do. I have just only talked to them for a couple weeks now and music isn't their thing (Except Fleetwood Mac. And now I get to see Fleetwood Mac soon )
